MPIC Client Portal Terms and Conditions

Welcome to the MPIC Client Portal (the “Portal”), a secure online platform provided by Ministry Partners Investment Company, LLC (“MPIC”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By accessing or using the Portal, you (“Client” or “you”) agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. Please review them carefully. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not access or use the Portal.
- Eligibility and Access
Use of the Portal is limited to authorized clients of MPIC. Access is granted solely for legitimate business purposes related to your relationship with us as a lending or investment client. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity conducted through your account.
- Permitted Use
The Portal may be used solely to access your account information, loan or investment details, and communications provided by MPIC. You may not use the Portal for any other purpose without our prior written consent.
- Prohibited Activities
You agree not to:
- In any way that violates or is prohibited by any applicable federal, state, local or international law or regulation (including, without limitation, U.S. export laws and regulations and any laws regarding the export of data or software to and from the US or other countries).
- Access or attempt to access the accounts or information of other clients.
- Upload or transmit content that infringes on the rights of third parties, including intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights.
- Engage in any activity that could disable, overburden, or impair the functioning or security of the Portal.
- Use automated means (including bots, crawlers, or scrapers) to access or interact with the Portal.
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the source code or underlying structure of the Portal or any connected system.
- Post or transmit content that contains any viruses, malware, spyware, or other harmful code.
- Use the Portal to transmit spam, phishing content, or other unsolicited communications.
- Share login credentials with unauthorized persons.
- Use the Portal for fraudulent, unlawful, or unauthorized purposes.
- Introduce malicious code or attempt to access restricted areas.
- Misrepresent your identity or relationship with us.
- Electronic Communications and Consent
By using the Portal, you consent to receive all notices, communications, and disclosures electronically. These may include updates to terms, account notifications, statements, and transaction confirmations. You agree that your electronic consent has the same legal effect as a physical signature.
- Electronic Signature and Delivery Consent
By using the Portal, you consent to receive disclosures, statements, agreements, and notices electronically and acknowledge that electronic delivery has the same legal effect as physical delivery. You may withdraw this consent at any time by contacting us.
- Data Retention
Documents and statements available on the Portal are provided for your convenience and are not guaranteed to be retained indefinitely. We recommend downloading and saving any documents for your records. MPIC reserves the right to remove or archive documents at its sole discretion after a reasonable period, unless otherwise required by law.
- User Support, Availability and Accessibility
Support is available Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Pacific Time, excluding holidays. For technical issues, contact 800-753-6742. While we strive to maintain continuous access, we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. MPIC is committed to providing a Portal experience that is accessible to all users.
- Scheduled Maintenance and Downtime
The Portal may occasionally be unavailable due to scheduled maintenance or unanticipated service interruptions by the third-party provider. MPIC will make reasonable efforts to notify users of planned outages, but does not guarantee availability or performance of the Portal at all times.
- Third-Party Hosting
The Portal is hosted and managed by a third-party service provider on behalf of MPIC. While we work closely with our provider to maintain a secure and reliable experience, MPIC does not control the underlying infrastructure and is not liable for any outages, technical malfunctions, or data breaches caused by the third-party provider.
- No Offer or Investment Advice
All information on the Portal is for informational purposes only and does not constitute an offer to sell or solicitation to buy securities. Nothing constitutes personalized investment, legal, or tax advice.
- Debt Securities Disclosure
Debt securities offered by MPIC are not insured by the FDIC, SIPC, or any government agency, and may involve risk of loss. Offers are made only by prospectus or offering memorandum.
- Privacy and Confidentiality
Your use of the Portal is subject to our Privacy Policy. We take measures to safeguard your information but cannot guarantee absolute security.
- Accuracy and Reliance
We strive to keep information accurate and updated, but we do not warrant its completeness. Use at your own risk.
- Third-Party Tools and Links
The Portal may link to third-party services not controlled by us. Use of such services is at your own risk and subject to their terms.
- Copyright and Intellectual Property
All Portal content is the property of MPIC or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute any content without permission.
- Relationship to Account Agreements
These Terms supplement any other agreements you have with MPIC. In case of conflict, the agreement(s) will prevail.
- Right to Cure
If you breach these Terms, we will provide written notice and a chance to remedy the issue within five (5) business days, unless immediate action is required.
- Termination of Access
We may suspend or terminate Portal access at any time at our sole discretion and without notice.
- Modifications to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Portal signifies your acceptance of any changes. We encourage users to review the Terms periodically.
- DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES
The Portal and all content, materials, and services provided through it are offered "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. MPIC disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Portal will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.
- LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by law, MPIC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages from use of the Portal.
- Browser and Device Compatibility
The Portal is designed to function on modern browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Safari) and recent versions of desktop and mobile operating systems, including iOS, iPadOS, and Android. Use of outdated browsers or unsupported devices may result in reduced functionality or display errors.
- System Requirements
Use of the Portal requires a modern web browser and the ability to view PDF documents. Users must maintain suitable technology to access and retain records.
- Change of Hosting Provider
MPIC reserves the right to change third-party Portal providers at its sole discretion. In such cases, we will make reasonable efforts to ensure a smooth transition and notify users of any material changes.
- Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of California. Disputes will be resolved in courts located in Orange County, CA. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of those courts.
