- Open an account
- Provide account or contact information
- Conduct transactions
Why can’t I limit all sharing?
Federal law gives you the right to limit only:
- Sharing for affiliates’ credit-related activities
- Affiliates using your information for marketing
- Sharing for non-affiliates to market to you
Definitions
Affiliates: Companies related by common ownership or control. Our affiliates include Ministry Partners Securities, LLC.
Non-affiliates: Companies not related by ownership or control. We may share limited information with non-affiliated service providers who assist with processing transactions, servicing accounts, or supporting operations. These providers are contractually required to protect your information and use it only for the services we request.
Joint Marketing: A formal agreement between non-affiliated financial companies to jointly market financial products or services to you. MPIC does not participate in joint marketing.
Data Retention and Security
We retain your personal information only as long as necessary to fulfill legal and business purposes, and comply with applicable regulations such as those from the SEC and FINRA. We employ safeguards to protect your information.
